I received multiple calls from this "caller". I only heard a series of beeps, with no one on the other end.

It is a scam that involves as a spoof, or fraudulent call. They threaten to extort you with physical or financial harm or the release of sensitive information about you as their intended victim. They impersonated as government, some fraud form of impersonation. Spoofing FBI numbers, and others.

Received this number from spammer stating that I won 11 million check, 500,000 cash plus a Mercedes from Publishers Clearinghouse. I just needed to send him $2500 to register my prize. LOL.

Call from a call center, man identifies himself as Jason Lee Beckman from the NC Troopers Association, asking for money. Google tells me the (invalid) caller id number is spoofed: 984-205-1567

I keep getting calls from this number. When I answer, there is no one on the line. Eventually, the call hangs up. This phone # came with my TWC package, so it has to be a telemarketer, because I haven't given the number to anyone.
