just got a call from this same number and called it back, they didn't even answer just hung up . I presume they have realized people are learning it's a scam

I just got a call from them also, when I called back they wanted my name and number told them NO. I wanted to know what it was about, she said "I can't give you any information unless you give me your name". Told her I can't give you my name unless you tell me what this is about. Told her I wanted to make sure she wasn't scamming me. She then hung up..

The IRS will NEVER call you.....they will only contact you by MAIL. I work at an accounting office and we hear of these scams all the time. IRS NEVER MAKES PHONE CALLS !!!!!

When I called this number the person answering said "IRS". When I asked "Is this Global Crossing Local Services in Manchester Missouri?" he replied "yes it is", then hung up on me when I asked to speak to his supervisor.

I received a call from this number and it was a recording stating it was the IRS and that they were going to sue me. I called the number back and they tried to verify my information. When I asked them what this was about they hung up on me. i then called back again and they hung up on me. This has to be a scam!!!! Be aware and watch your credit report and bank info.
