Same message saying IRS issue. Called back and asked person's name. She gave it to me, but I couldn't understand her. She said she was with IRS investigation unit. I asked her where her office was located. She hung up.

Ditto got the same call. I called them back out of interest and they told me there was an error in my tax returns from 2010-2015, but could not tell me what and wanted me to pay them $2700.

I just got a message from the IRS we're suing me. This is the first call and they are stating it was my final call. I live in California.

I received a call from this number, "IRS is filling a law suite again you, please call 224 440 8874 immediately. again I repeat 224 440 8874!"

I just got the call and called them back asking if it was a scam. The woman I was talking to promptly hung up. I feel bad for older people who may not realize this is a scam & comply with their requests or give them all of their personal information!

Recorded message advising IRS is filing a lawsuit against me and to call the number back. I called the number from my work phone and a man with a heavy accent answered with some bogus company name. I reported it on the IRS website

Said it was the final notice and IRS is suing me. Number is from Waukegan area . I am in Evanston area. Are other people who are getting this call in the same area? Pretty sure this is bogus since I have gotten no previous calls and nothing in the mail.
