They called and a woman calling herself as Samantha Jones, a process server with National Courier Service, left a message. From reading the comments above, I'm guessing these are more scammer scum. I will not call back. I don't understand why the government does not do something about these calls; they are obviously fraudulent.

Stated she was from an independent marketing company, only ask if I was the decision maker in vacations, grocery shopping and other purchases, making me think she is going to sell my number to others and create more unwanted phone calls

I had a lady named Samantha Jones, a certified agent for the National Courier Service call from a private number and said she had a Court Order that had to be signed within 24 hours, and named me as a defendant. She stated a court docket number, and a number to contact the filing party, 1-910-889-8029. Said if I made arrangements, she would stop service on the documents. Called the number, and got a voice mail that said," 102 is unavailable."
I called my local Clerk of Court, and she did not have any records in the NC Court system of such a document, and suggested calling the NC Attorney General. I called on 10/6/2017, and they told me that it was a scam. Ignore calls from unknown numbers, and report them, so the information is in their system. Watch out for these people. I have gone through the process of being served, so I know how that works.

02-28-17. Phone rang at 6:40 PM. Caller ID showed "NC Turnout." I didn't know/recognize number so didn't answer. Most likely another harassing telemarketer scam caller.

Keep getting calls from this number as well as others with 910-889-80xx numbers. They need to stop.
