Text message saying my mobile was picked to receive USD $1,000,000.00 from the Donna/David Stickley Donation. With a link. I tapped on the link and it brought me to several Google info regarding that they won $21,000,000. dollar lottery. They asked for my name, address, country age and email address. I sent that since anyone can find that out from any background check or white pages. They emailed me back with a long detailed message how they want to give this money to me for me to donate to various charities, etc. They sent an email today giving me a name and number to call Stantard Bank and they will make arrangements to send me the money. I, of course, will not give out any personal info to them like my bank account number or social. I just wanted to see how all this would play out. I'm sure they will be asking for that info as well so I know it's a scam. However, I did Google various scam sites and FTC website and am not finding anything about it being a scam until I just typed in the phone number and found this one where it says this number has 6 scams being associated with it. Too bad, I really could use a million bucks right now!

Company called GDS Processing or GDS and associate are a collection agency who is asking for money. They are frauds. The claim that you owe money and that they will take you to court. They said that I owed Bank of America which is incorrect. They try to extort money from you.

667-206-7797 = caller id = Towson MD = robo caller for a call center = keeps calling, never leaves a message = if i answer, long wait = call center must be busy...mr number says this is not a valid number and is spoofed....so who out there can tell me a legitimate company that utilizes a spoofed number? that's what i thought....I am blocking and so should you...ugh.....

If this was a legitimate text from Microsoft, wouldn't they be less crytic and why provide a link that is potentially risky?

Call on my cell phone. Caller said it was a fund raiser for FOP. Transferred me to someone to get my information. Asked for credit card number. I said I would send in a check when I got the package in the mail. Caller asked to verify my name and I asked her what they had as my name. Caller said completely different name - not even close.

Same as others. Robocall stating "ignoring this will be an intentional second attempt to avoid initial appearance before a magistrate judge or a grand jury for federal criminal offense.
