Spam caller. One of those publisher clearing house scammers.
Said I had won several million dollars and a new Mercedes. Ask I had to do was pay the taxes on the winnings and the licensing fee on the car in order to receive them. Also that I was not to speak to anyone at all, including family.
Identified himself as Tony Miller.

The caller ID said it was Wells Fargo, girl said was from local branch, gave correct # from branch in 818 Agoura . No agents are taking calls at that branch due to covid, bank does not call as a âcourtesy callâ.

I also received a series of text messages with same content and my name which stated my payment was declined for my for my order. Then they took an extra $98 out of my bank account while the vendor say's they only received one order, not two!

When I called back, the voicemail said: "Thank you for calling the fundraising center. We are unable to answer your call at this time."

Another 5 second blank voicemail call, similar recent #'s: with the 747-221 prefix: 6989, 6979, 6978 all sent to SPAM. If I answer, there is no response and the line is disconnected after a few seconds. If I call back (with my ID hidden), the number responds as disconnected. This is clear spoofing.
I observe that calls each week or so are clustered from one area code and then move to a cluster of calls from another area code. I hope this helps others to recognize these phishing/SPAM calls.

A recorded message. Claims they are from the IRS and going to file a lawsuit against you. It never states a name. Just tell you for more information, dial 7472221375 which is the number showing they are calling from.

Said he was from internal revenue and I was being investigated for tax fraud, claims his badge number was GS3327 he wanted last four of my social & birthday, then he said he could open my file. ..... I ask him shouldn't all of that be on file it you got a record on me, he said yes that's when I hung the phone up..

Received 5 phone calls today from (747) 222-1295 with a recording that the IRS is suing me, that I have to call the phone number back. I returned the call knowing that it was a scam, the foreign speaking person stated that I needed to pay them, but he did not know what my name was. He then told me that the police would be coming to arrest me within the next two days and to enjoy my time in prison.

IRS Phone scam. Recorded robo-voice informs of alleged fraud and impending dire consequences unless you call back to make arrangements. This is not how the IRS does business. Don't be victimized.
