It clearly is not from Amazon, most likely a phishing attempt.

I got the same text as the last commenter. No one actually trying to refund something would send a text message about it especially with a weird ip address linked. I blocked them.

I received a text message from this number. The message advised me that I had been over charged and a refund was due. All I had to do was to follow a link to claim my refund. The link was sent as an IP address. I did a tracert from the command prompt on my laptop to find the location of the IP address. It turns out that the IP address is in Bucharest, Romania. Fake? I would say so.

I suspect it was a scammer. An automated message said suspect charges were made on my Visa card this morning, and gave option to "press 2" if I wished them cancelled, which I did. Moments later someone started to talk as I hung up.

This is a scam number. They try to get you to open adds regarding room rentals wanting money. They messaged me when I didn't give my number to them. Not sure how they got it. But beware They are claiming to be Asians renting an apartment. They messaged from different numbers pretending to be different people trying to rent. Call RCMP.

This is a scam. He said his name is Richard and heâs a widow thatâs allegedly in CA but itâs a Nova a Scotia phone number. Heâs allegedly Australian, American and Indian. His writing is definitely a foreigner. He deleted his profile before I could capture his pic of a typical white male light brown hair medium weight not overly in shape but not bad near mountains.
