I seem to get these calls at random. My policy is to let them ring through three times and if they don't leave a message after the third, it's most likely either a scam or robocall or someone that doesn't know me and so I block it. It does say on my phone call was "verified by the carrier" which means nothing to me really. I assume what it means is that at least it's an actual phone number as far as the provider is aware, but that has little to no effect on these rampant calls

This number called me earlier today. No idea who was calling from it but my phone had a checkmark next to it which says that that means "the number has been verified by the carrier", for whatever that's worth. No name with the number just that it was from Greenville, Tx and of course no message was left. If it calls 3x and no message left I'll block it like the rest.

Caller said that they were an officer of the law and making a complaint against us. That there was legal action going to be taken against us.

I received a call from this number, it was an automated message that said they needed to speak with me or my lawyer so press 1, I pressed 1 and it placed me on hold for about 2 minutes and hung up. I called back a young man answered and used my name then hung up. I called back again got a young lady, I stated that I received a call from this number she hung up. I called back again got a young man who said "Professional Litigation Services" I stated I received a call from this number and he hung up.

This # called today at around 6:30 P.M. the CID showed ELKHART,TX, we do not know anybody from there & we did not give them our # or ask these vermin to call. There are at least 4 calls a week that comes in that are scams. So, nobody will ever answer an unknown #. They are always after your info & $$. These idiots can call from any #. & do & they are a NON wanted call! Invading your privacy!
