call received claiming to be Revenue Canada 10:05 AM. Claimed file against me and if I didn't call back immediately the police would issue an arrest warrant immediately. I use and accounting firm every year and pay in full on time. I did not and will not call back. Assumed it was a scam as the number left to call back did not match known Revenue Canada and no extension was given.

I received a call from this no. earlier today and the guy told me his name is Peter Johnson and he said that he work's for CRA and he said that CRA file a claim against me for filing wrong my income tax last year and he said I only have 45 mins to resolve the matter and I need to pay $4 998 for him to close the file if not the police will get me arrested. I was crying because I don't have the money to pay him at bit machine I don't even know what that is. I was shaking and crying so hard because I was not the one who file my income tax.

They asked for personal information. I called Canada Revenue they couldn't confirm the ph number.
