I was busy so I asked to call back and they gave me the number that everyone has been talking about it (661 number). Same as above, they asked for info about my computer.

Guy with a heavy accent told me that hackers were getting into my computer and he wanted to help me block them. To convince me of his authenticity, he wanted to give me instructions on how to match my computer license ID with the number he has from the Microsoft Windows Technical Department. It sounded fishy to me and I was not willing to follow his instructions. I told him I would check with my computer guru and call him back if it turns out that I need his help.

Told me I has a virus on my computer and needed to go to a website and download something about foreign users. I asked if he thought I was stupid as he too was from a different country. He told me they were affiliated with Microsoft so I asked for Microsoft 800 # and he said well any 800 # you call for microsoft - they wont answer your calls. That's when I'd had enough !!!!

Steve tried to get access to my computer. Said he was from Windows, an affiliate of Microsoft. Once I started asking questions about who he was and where he was and the 2 different numbers he was using: he hung up on me.

From the Bishop, CA area, these buffoons are calling us up here 250 miles away from Bakersfield. Report them to your police, they are bad to the bone.

Robin Willson called me last night, 8-27 17 and told me that some hackers were attempting to use my IP to set up big hacking oppertunitys using my IP. I did give him info. but not my card # but he was asking me to put in this and that words I suppose to give him access to my computer. I did! but it never would go through, and he said well it was getting late and he would call me back in the morning at 9 oclock.
He said shut down your computer and don't turn it back on tonight! I did but about that time my daughter call and I was telling her about it, I had been on the phone with him 30 or 45 min. and without me asking he had given me a phone number 6613745007. My daughter said it was a scam and she looked up the # on Google and received this page. I am elderly and am not very compter literate. He did call back this morning and I told him that My daughter said it was a scam and to please not call here anymore thank you good by. I hung up. He did attemp to call back a couple of times but I simply pressed talk and then hung up each time. So far he has not called again.Thanks to my daughter. I will be more careful next time.

Do not use this company. Do not give them your info. They prey on the elderly. They conned my dad into giving his computer info and shut down his computer. It's a paper weight now. They said they would fix it for 269.00
They caused this issue and are forcing him to pay for it. Screw em. I just bought another computer.
Pay attention to the names. They aren't very creative

Just got the same call from a "Steve Williams". He knew my mom's name, then mentioned my sister in law's name, I'm assuming it's because they have the same last name. I told him stop scamming my mom, and I hung up on him.

Complete SCAM! Holding my computer hostage unless I pay. I refused and opted to get a reputable company to repair and retrieve my Windows platform back. What jerks! Be careful just hang up.

Not really Windows Technical support, but a scam to get your computer info and credit card.

Just had a "Jack William" call me from "Windows Technical Support". He said I had a virus on my computer and it would be "his pleasure" to help me get rid of it if I provided him a credit card for his services.

They are hackers! The man said he was with Microsoft and my computer has a virus they need to fix.

Total scam. Got a call from a a gentlemen who said he was with a Windows Support group and that my computer has been reporting virus activity for a few weeks now. He was here to provide support. I stopped him right there and asked him the name of his company. He said "Windows Technical Company". What a horrible name. Then I asked for his phone number, he told me it was (661) 374-5007. He actually called from a 1-800 number though (800) 264-1261. I then asked him for his name, he said David. I ended the call with "Thank you, that's all I needed". Beware, these are criminals/scammers/thieves/hackers.

They called me with same windows scam and I told them to just email the info. haven't seen or heard anything yet. SCAM

They told me that they are from windows support, I've been under attack about a month so they'd like to help me but after some questions like how did you get this information, what is your relationship with windows etc. line was cut. Totally scam don't give them any information they'll probably use it againist you...

These are hackers!!!
