Did someone call or text you from 800-317-6345 ?

Comments

I received a text from BofA, about a large check, I answered no, I received this number to call, but I didn't call it. I checked all of my accounts, and knew I didn't have any ending in the number they gave me.

It was good to see it was what I had expected it to be.

800-317-6345 is a phishing attack! BEWARE! They will send you a text stating that you have unusual activity in your account and test Yes or No to stop check payment. Once you text "NO" they will send you this number to call the "fraud department"...well, once you call they will get your personal information and steal your identity.

I have the same experience as above. When speaking with a real BofA representative, they advised this could be phishing texts. Call BofA directly and not the number in the text message.

Received text message asking me if I had written a large check on my Bank of America account and to reply yes or no. When I replied no it asked me to call this number which the message said was the "Fraud Claims" of Bank of America. Instead I called the known number for BoA Frauds who said the text message was fraudulent.
