If you gave them any information and you are a usaa member, contact the USAA number from their app, website, or back of the card and tell them what happened.
The number looked familiar so I googled the number and when I didn’t find anything, i returned the call. USAA does have numbers that start the same (800-531) but this is not one of them.
When you call it, it’s set up to sound like it’s the USAA automated system “welcome to USAA..â€. I hung up immediately because I knew it wasn’t them. I called USAA from the number in the app (I am a usaa member) and confirmed with them that THIS IS NOT USAA.
