Received a text ALERT to my cell phone at 9:30 pm on 9/4/17. It was a warning that my Wells Fargo Debit card "temporary blocked" (their words) and to call 201-350-5287. I called the number (it sounded legitimate as they played WF background music) and became suspicious when recording asked for my full account number - so I hung up. I then called the NUMBER ON THE BACK of the debit card. WF rep said they are aware of this spam texting tonight. DO NOT CALL THIS NUMBER.

Same as previous comment. Stated was a J.P. Morgan chase debit card from a text. I also did not have a debit card with that bank.

suspect fraud / phishing.
said debit card had been blocked. I don't have a debit card linked to the stated bank in their text message. Phone number was not associated with the bank.
