This phone call stated that I have committed tax fraud and unless I called them back, I would be prosecuted. Immediately after this phone call another call came through as well with a different phone number (202) 846-0410. The first number was (202) 750-4163

Called number back and it states that it is unavailable. It's a scam and they are phishing numbers again.

Same here.. they want me to go to a CVS pharmacy and get a ITunes gift card and put $140.00 on it. Then I will receive my loan which I dropped from $5000 to $2000 and + I will get my $140.00 back also.. the $140.00 is for insurance on my loan.. something called the United States Payment Protection. The guy I talked to gave me his personal office number of 727-521-7323.. his name is Kenneth Brown.. I am now going to call a US BANK in my area and ask them about all this.. seems fishy..

Caller was automated and said to call this number for an approved loan from US Bank. I was told that I qualified for a $5000.00 loan. I was told that I would have to make a $98.00 payment for 60 months. However, I would have to first pay them $150.00 for the application fee and show them that I was serious.

I have gotten several calls from this #. I finally spoke with them to see what's it about. It's about a loan. They told me that I was approved for $5000 and the payment would be $89 per month for repayment. Great! Right? Well you then have to take $200 to Dollar General and get a pre paid voucher and the call them back or they will call you back if you tell them how long it will be for yourself to do that. Then they will get the # from the voucher to verify they you do indeed have the money and then with 1/2 hour your money will be deposited in your account. They would deposit $5200 in your account. Of course the $200 will have to be Western Union somewhere by me. Of course I did not do any of this because it just sounded like a scam. They say they are from US Bank, but I don't know of any Bank that operates like this. So all beware! They all have African accents of course.
