These idiots called my cellphone and left three recordings stating that the government was after me. After I heard the recording, I called the FBI in Atlanta and told them about it. I have the messages on my phone in case they need to hear them. I don't know who they are, but they're really pissing me off. My advice is report any scam you get to the authorities and keep the messages in case they need to hear it.

I have a similar issue I put money on the card now I have cards that I can not use do to having a Samsung instead of an iPhone I used my bill money on it and now I can not pay my lights or rent because he stated I had to pay $600 to get the money me being stupid believed him so I have $600 on two different cards half and half as he instructed me to do

I received the same call 10 minutes ago, but is clear that it is a fraud. I do not know how that people got my personal information they knew my address. The man was from indian his english pronunciation was weak.

Just received a call saying I was selected for a government grant of $9,700. I asked why I was selected he couldn't answer the question, all he could say was you were selected to receive a grant of $9,700 in the form of cash. I played along. He told me to write down grant # ID and verification codes and call back number to reach him when I arrived at western union. When I asked how he even knew who to send the money to he repeated "you are selected to receive a government grant of $9,700 in the form of cash". so I still play along, he tells me to call him back when I arrive at the western union store to call back and pay a $250 activation fee, when I asked him why he repeated himself again. He then proceeds to tell me this is western unions policy because it's a private company. Its a scam!

I got the same call and haven the bills, my family could really use that but I checked on it before I ran and dropped $250.00 on something to good to be true. Then the guy called me back and I told him I looked him up and told him I don't partisapate in scams and haven't revived a call since...

They have been calling me for several days-they stated I am getting cash money from the United States Government in the amount of 9700. They asked me to go to Western Union and then call them back from the parking lot to pay $214 before going into western union. I asked why I would have to pay first and they said because the money is coming from World bank of China. I told him I didn't have the $214 and shame on him for trying to do this to people. He said, you don't have $214? I said no and he hung up on me. DO Not fall for this SCAM
