Was also contacted by Stella swanbeck via gmail stbeck795@gmail.com wanting to send a cashier's check with movers, etc. Same story slash scam. I declined

Contacted through OfferUP. Same as others reported. Sent me a check for $2875 for a $500 sale, said the extra was for the movers and wanted me to cash the check. The check was written on a business, Have contacted them to inform them she has access to what appears to be an old account. She told me she works there. I have flagged her on the app and will file a police report as well.

We were also contacted by Ellyn Jerins through Offer Up about a loft bed we were selling. She wants to send moversafter the cashier's check cleared. We knew there was something fishy about it.

Scam, get a government grant but youhave to give them a $250.00 security deposit which is refundable . As soon as I told the guy I have online that this is bullshit and a scam he hung up The scarey thing is they new my address.

SCAM!! Tired of the constant phone calls and harassment. When I spoke with the operator and told him it was a scam, he hung up. Tired of these random calls at all times of the day. The government doesn't give random people $7k to do whatever they want. There is always a catch and I'm not selling my soul. You have my address on file, telephone and etc. Just send the check! Why do I need to talk to you? This Landline is not based from the department of Treasury. SCAM!
