Called my business line to my home at 7:30 AM! Strong southern accent that I could not understand very well. Said that she is Danielle from United Healthcare & needed "info on one of the providers from my group". Left this number to call her back. Searched the number. It is from the Piedmont area of N.C. My caller ID says Optum which is the claims processor from United Healthcare & is only an "out-going" number. Obviously spoofed. Called this 336 number that the caller left (with my phone # blocked) and the recording said that the number is not in service. First of all, United would not call for provider info at 7:30 AM, before business hours, and would not ask for provider info on "one of your providers" because I am contracted with them and they know that I am a sole proprietor & would have all my info, and United would not be calling from N.C. because United is local to my area of the United States. Rookie scammer.
