a missed call from a familiar number not in my contacts. I wish to know who it is that if my familiarity with the subscriber I might be able to connect or reconnect with a friend. the call cannot be spam for they never reveal a phone number on calling, if they do - rarely - not conceal their numbers, the numbers are invariably with area codes and the network numbering exchanges (prefixes) are unfamiliar, and many are 1-800 ... numbers. this call was to my cell; I have not broadcast my number willy-nilly, and in 10 -- 15 years I've gotten one invasive call on my cell.
