This is a collection agency of some sort. Received a call from them looking for my ex husband. They said there were uniformed officers at my home to serve him with papers, and that they were on the way to my work. I informed them that he was my ex and I don't know where he lives right now. This person pretended to be an officer of the law-- they use these types of scare tactics. I was seriously concerned, thinking that the father of my children was in trouble. I immediately let him know, and we called the police, sheriff, and child support office to see if he had any papers being served on him or any warrants or anything. No one knew anything. We didn't find out until 3 days later that it was, in fact, a collection agency trying to collect on a 10 year old credit card debt. Ridiculous!!!
