I got exactly the same message from the same april Spencer. I ask her if she could call me but she said she was deaf. Also got another almost identical message from a Lisa Michael at a different # 45 minutes later. This is a scam. They will send you a check for more than the agreed upon price. You are supposed to cash it then send on the difference to whoever is sending you the laptops. The check will bounce and then your out for the amount of the check.

Says her name is "April Spencer". She sent me a text message about being part of a team to fix some laptops. Here's the email she followed up with:
"Am glad you reply back to my Email.I have been contracted to fix up
some HP laptops but at the moment am in Inglewood, CA attending to some
other jobs. In view of this we are looking to offer you this job and
we want you to handle the fixing of the laptops on agreed terms.
ÃÂ ÃÂ These are what need to be done on the laptops.
ÃÂ ÃÂ 1. Format Hard Drive,
ÃÂ ÃÂ 2. Instal Win 8,
ÃÂ ÃÂ 3. Microsoft Office Package,
ÃÂ ÃÂ 4. AVG Virus Software (Free Lifetime Updates)
ÃÂ ÃÂ 5. Adobe Acrobat,
ÃÂ ÃÂ 6. Diagnostics of the entire system after to check hard drive, cdrom, etc.
ÃÂ ÃÂ So if you are capable of handling this get back to me with the
total cost for handling each unit based on a total cost of 5 Units.
And i have all the necessary software and license needed for the service
installations..."
Someone called Timothy sent me the same.
