Fake IRS scam. Claimed to be calling from IRS main office on Constitution Ave. in DC (they don't do audits from there!) and claimed they had sent me two letters even tho I didn't tell them so much as my name. Don't call back -- they're crooks.

When you place a return call to this number if you do not pick up the phone when they call, they don't pick up the phone. When calling, they leave a half-assed message, which is partially in-audible to entice you into returning their phone call. Other callers have reported that it's a scam.

Recording saying they have been trying to reach me from the IRS. The IRS don't make phone calls, they send letters. This number is a scam.

A voice mail was left and when the number was called, it was supposedly the IRS. No offense intended but " Officer" whoever could not speak correct English! I did not give them any information.

It was a message stating the call was from the IRS and a lawsuit would be filed if I didn't call back. When I called back it only rang, no answer.

Automated call claiming the IRS was filing a law suit against me, and to call back for more information. They have called me three times today.

Called my cell 1:12 pm. and 2:53 p.m. PST 8/8/16. It was a recorded message asking me to call them about a case file. Didn't mention anything about the IRS, unless the message cut that part off in the beginning.
