Bogus scam call about legal problem with United States Treasury.

I received a call from this number this morning at 9:20 AM Central Time. I did not answer it. The substance of the call is similar or exactly like many others that reported this call. It is a scam call trying to convince people that they are in trouble, and need to call the at 1-559-588-4761 to avoid the problem, or find out what they need to do. I did neither. It was obviously was a scam. Says it was an enforcement action of the United States Treasury. I can't see why the Federal law enforcement doesn't do anything to stop people being fleeced by all the scam calls that seem to change daily. People who fall for it are robbed as same as someone using a gun. I have received several hundred of similar calls from all different scams. There seem to be one common link to many of them. Many come from Level 3 Communications, LLC, and many seem to come through Louisville, KY too.

I agree that this is nothing but a scam because anytime the U.S. Government contacts someone they do so by letter in the mail or registered mail. I wish they would put a stop to these people that are doing this because it does sound intimidating. If I was not very wise I would probably have answered the call and thought I was in big trouble. I am sure older people fall for this kind of crap.

I received a call, which I didn't answer, they left a voice mail stating they with the Federal Government - They could barely speak English - Clearly a SCAM! IRS doesn't call - they send letters!
