They said they were a student loan debt collector and they could help with only paying 5.00 a month smh

I called them back and a voice prompt said it was a company called Retriever Merchant Solutions. At that point I hung up and blocked them.

They called and I didn't pick up; they left a 4 minute message of "on hold" music.

Called and left no message. I'm guessing it's spam because I know no person or company in this area.

I've received repeated calls from "Wellsville, NY" which is in my area code. I've begun blocking the numbers because a message is never left; however, I continue to receive calls from different numbers, same area code, same location of "Wellsville, NY". Today I received a call and immediately declined it. My sister received a call from the same number immediately after I declined. My sister answered and the person asked for me, to which my sister responded "wrong number". The person then asked if she knew me - my sister replied that I was were sister but that she would not give my contact information to a stranger. My sister said the person, who said his name was Wesley Well, got very rude after she refused to give my contact information away.
Wesley Wells did not state the company that he worked for - he only mentioned that he was calling on an "important business matter".
