Caller identified himself as an attorney who called my elderly in-laws and wanted them to wire $4000 in bail money from Walmart for their grandson (my son) who he claimed had been injured in a car accident and was also being arrested for DUI. If they could not immediately wire the bail money he was in danger of having to spend 25 days in jail, so they needed to hurry. This scared them and was completely untrue. This caller even put someone on the phone sounding injured claiming to be their grandson, the voice was so garbled they couldn't tell if it was really him. Pure scam, and a really evil thing to do.
