I receive multiple calls from 1-608-433-1898 asking for me by name. When I say that this is the person they are looking for, and ask who they are... they respond as follows, "This phone call is being recorded for quality purposes. I need you to verify your account # and your mailing address along with the last 4 of your SS#".
I repeat again, "Who is this and what company are you with ?" They repeat again, " Is this ****** *****? I need you to verify that you are the person I am looking for. This phone call is being recorded for quality purposes. I need you to verify your account # and your mailing address along with the last 4 of your SS#" I say very distinctly that first of all, I do not give out my address nor my SS# over the phone unless I know who I am speaking with and they can verify this information for me by telling me what my address is. How can I possible know an account # if you don't tell me what company you are working for?" At this statement, they abruptly hang up the phone. They call at all hours of the day and night. I had to look up this number on a website to find out this is Sprint. I do not nor have I ever had an account with Sprint-- I would like to know how to make this crap stop
