Left a scam message saying that I'm subject to federal charges and to call their attorneys.

It is a recording. I am sure it is a fraudulent caller. Do not respond. The IRS, nor the US Treasury are going to call you. All correspondence is through U.S. mail.

Claimed to be from the US Treasury calling about an impending legal action. Did not ask for a specific person. Caller was foreign. The IRS or US Treasury is not going to call you. Never respond to these calls.
