this number keeps calling saying they are with the irs and I am going to be placed under arrest and that they are monitoring my assets. Definately an unwanted call.

Same thing regarding: "THIS IS ABOUT GIVE ME A CALL ON THE RECORD YOU'RE HEREBY NOTIFIED THAT WE NEED TO SPEAK WITH YOU OR YOUR ATTORNEY REGARDING AN ONGOING INVESTIGATION IN THE EVENT WE CANNOT SPEAK WITH IN OUR OFFICE TODAY WE WILL DOCUMENT I JUST WASTE YOUR RIGHTS TO COUNSEL AND SUBMIT THE FILE FOR THE STATE CONTACT ME IMMEDIATELY AT 614-379-4156." At first was fearful of did I have something? But then with others stating the same phone calls I am relief not just me. Wish this would stop and the recordings are more not with language difficulty on the phone are more frequent.

Received call staying the about owing payday loan, I will be issued a warrant. Told if I do not have legal council to be prepared to be handcuffed in front of my loved ones.

Got the exact same call. They gave me my name and city and said i that my social was involved in a banking fraud.

I received a call as well. They are getting good with the scare tactics. They are now using an "american" robot voice to disguise the indian person actually calling. The number is out of OH but its a VOIP.

left me a message stating that they needed to hear from me or my attorney today and if they didn't then they would document that I have waived my rights to counsel.
They also have a 201 number as well. They get your information off of job sites or that's what they did to me. I picked up because I thought it might be a job and I told them I didn't want the job. I thought it might not be on the up and up. A guy calls back and starts to threaten me on a VM he left.

It's a scam, pure and simple. Report it to the Federal Trade Commission as soon as possible! I've dealt with these before, and all they're trying to do is scare you into sending them money, usually by going to a facility that sells preloaded VISA cards, so as to pay off a fictitious debt of some sort. If you demand they send you something in writing, they usually hang up on you, because then it becomes mail fraud! Best thing to do is go to the FTC's website and report this on their complaint assistant section. If you have a phone system where you can block numbers like these, do so!

Same as the one above concerning an ongoing investigation, blah, blah blah, etc. THIS IS A SCAM!! No name was given, no name of the company, what it's about, etc. ! It is a scare tactic, probably concerning a loan you may have taken out years ago, or an online payday loan, etc., and they're just trying to intimidate the people they call, and they especially prey on senior citizens. It usually involves the person called to go to a facility that sells preloaded Visa cards, then "forward" the card to them! Again, IT IS A SCAM!!! Report it to the Federal Trade Commission at www.ftccomplaintassistant.gov. Try to put down everything you can, and if you have blocking phone number capabilities on your home phone, by all means BLOCK the number!

I got the same call, I called back and they claim to be a mediation firm "Simon Krueger and Associates". When I googled them, nothing comes up. They say I have a delinquent pay day loan and they need to collect or it will go to court. When I started asking questions about their company they said they don't have a website. When I asked if I were to lose the number and had more questions, how would I look them up they just kept giving me their address, 8720 Orion Pl, Columbus, OH. Looking up that property, Simon Krueger and Associates is not listed (see site: https://homemetry.com/Columbus+OH/ORION+PL/8720 ). I am reporting them to the Federal Trade Commission.
