Caller left msg Said from IRS Tried to call back Got busy signal
August 9, 2016 11:42 am
I got the same message from above, but it was quite apparent to me, it was someone with a foreign accent, trying to impersonate the voice of an English accent. It sort of sounded like they had taped their voice, then slowed it down to sound more English. Sort of like the character of Kevin did in the Movie " Home Alone 2." He taped his voice, then slowed it down to sound like an adult voice, so he could order room service. The taped speech should have said, like the person stated above "I am officer Heather Grey from the Internal Revenue Service. Do not disregard this message. Return my call before we take further action against you." The voice was really slowed down, and the speech I heard was missing words that if it had been really from someone with the Internal Revenue Service, would have been added, and one word pronounced correctly. The below message is what I heard. "I am officer Heather Grey from Internal Revenue Service. Do not disregard this message. Return my call before we take further action againt you." If this was really from someone with the IRS, the word (the) would have been added in front of Internal Revenue Service, and the word against would not have been pronounced against you, and not againt you.

The caller called me claiming that he was
with the IRS. The IRS said that he was acting on scam to exploit me for money. He asked for $250,000 more money that I make in a life time. His telephone number is 1-661-885-3879.

Got the same message saying from IRS
August 4, 2016 4:34 pm
Someone signed up for some bogus job search / phishing site using my number. Received 2 calls from this number this afternoon. Did not answer. They left voice mail with a recording (in SLOW MOTION) saying they were from the IRS, instructing me to call back immediately "before they take action against me".
