Recording saying they have made many attempts to reach me..This was my ââ¬Ålast chance!ââ¬Â for either an increase to my cc limit...or to lower my interest rate. I hung up so fast, I cannot say for sure which, ââ¬Åofferââ¬Â they were extending to me, but it was def 1 of those 2 options. Considering I do not require nor have I requested either such services from any company I am already an established customer of, the answer seems quite clear. This call is a TOTAL & COMPLETE SCAM with only 1 possible intention. Illegally obtaining the cc info,(theft by deception) of any poor fool who would voluntarily provide this sensitive info to a random incoming caller. Even if you have requested changes to any of your existing accounts, only provide personal info,(esp over the phone or via email) if you started the conversation by using the legitimate contact sources for an already established company. Any # that seems new or an unfamiliar or new incoming email address is an absolute red flag. Give NO info & report to internet & the company they are posing to be. Good luck!!
