Same as everyone else, an automated person saying they are with the IRS and there is fraud on my acct. I did NOT call them back.

Called received from this number at 12:35 p.m. Robocall. Serious male voice: "This is from the IRS regarding enforcement ...." At that point, I hung up as it is clearly a scam. As I am a senior, I am concerned that these people will target some who don't know any better.

Received an automated call from this number this afternoon. Recorded message that an audit revealed I am "hiding" from the government on my taxes. Ridiculous! I imagine this is supposed to frighten anyone who really might be hiding something. The recording said to call 716-226-9755 as soon as possible. Blocked both of the numbers as spam.
I wish I could meet these sorts of spammers, telemarketers, etc., alone at night in a dark alley sometimes and show them exactly how I feel about them calling my number.

I was told I had an issue with a federal agency magistrate judge or grand jury and to call this number to resolve this issue.

IRS tax person saying I apparently have a misconduct on my tax return. But, like previous commenter stated, they send mail, and do not call you. Don't call them back, and don't ever send money via mlneygrams. If it sounds like a scam, it most likely is. Don't be stupid!!

I called this number back as they left a message that indicating that I was hiding form the IRS. I called them back since I knew that the IRS doesn't call the consumer. The guy who answered had an Asian accent. He was asking me for my name and address. I told him that since they called me they should have my information. Hi immediately hung up the phone.

Someone called and left a message that they were from the IRS and that fraud activity was noted on my taxes and that I needed to contact them immediately. The IRS says they send out written communication to people, not via phone, therefore I did not respond to this call

This phone number was related to what I suspect is an IRS scam. They said they were the US Treasury and I needed to contact them to speak with a Magistrate or Grand Jury for a Federal offense. The phone number was registered as a Boston NY number--last time I checked, Boston was in Massachusetts...

I received a call from this number yesterday saying final notice of IRS filing a lawsuit. Called back today (because I do have some IRS issues) and it rang and rang-while it was ringing I did a google search and came up with this webpage and all the claims it was a scam. Just as I was reading the comments on this page saying it was a scam, (and after like 30 rings) someone picked up saying it was the Internal Revenue Service. I said half questioningly, "This is the Internal Revenue Service?" and the person on the other end immediately hung up. Obviously some sort of scam.

Scam. It is a recorded message claiming "final notice" that the IRS is in the beginning stages of filing a law suit against you.
