I think this call is scam because a robotic voice told me they going to take legal action against me. This happened today Ju Friday, June 15, 2018.

said from legal affairs from irs did I not receive some form I said no she said she had one right in front of her and she could fill it out I told her it didn't sound right and woud wait to hear from irs by mail she said she would make note

The person said they were with the department of treasury, legal affairs, and also said that they called me because I was in trouble.

They called saying they needed my lawyers number to fax papers because I was in trouble. I kept egging them on because it was fun at the moment, they hung up saying they would send the police to arrest me, LOL!

My minor son received as call was from someone claiming to be from "Legal assistance" and threatening that he will be arrested and should not talk to his parents about the call.
I told him to ask for her name, which she said is officer Rose Gilbert. Asked to speak with her manager, who was not available.
Is this a scam?

Called and said she represented the "Department of Legal Affairs," and that my lawyer should contact them back due to action being taken against me. Said her name was Leslie Owens.
Very likely a recording, as the message left on our answering machine was half-way finished.

Same thing here, said she was from legal affairs but never once used our name or a company name. She suggested that our attorney call her back. You could tell she was reading a script.

Was called at least 3-4 times stating they are from department of legal affairs, and that legal action was being pursued on me. Again a scam!

Call was from someone claiming to be from "Legal assistance" and threatening that not calling them back would result in big consequences "to my good name". Never once referred to name of a company or me as a person. Scam.
