This caller identified herself with Dish Network. The connection was not very clear and she had an accent that was hard for me to understand.
She was offering an upgrade to me dish equipment; knew the amount I paid for my services and offered a discount to my Dish bill for 10 months to cover the cost of the new equipment.
I was suspicious and called Dish Network. They advised that my equipment was not obsolete and there were no current offers to upgrade equipment.
This looked like a scam, and still does.
