Asking for my name and address to send a cashier's check. This number is on the other side of the country! This has got to be a scam.

I received a text from this number. It was implied they knew me by signing off as Jen and were starting a new business. I responded back that I did not have their number in my phone and to tell me their name. They could send info... no response back yet....I believe that there may be something else going on with this number.

this number is running scams on Criagslist - offering vacation rentals for properties they don't own. They go by different names, ask to wire funds.
