Ok, so this morning my mother received a phone call on her cell from a guy saying that I had been in an accident on Green St and that I was in alot of trouble and that his nephew was in the hospital and that we were responsible for all the medical bills. He knew my name, my car make and model and said that i gave her number as an emergency contact. My mother not knowing any better and knowing Kyle was home sick freaked out and believed this psycho. She begged him to tell her where i was and if i was ok while he screamed at her both in English and another language
She asked to speak to an officer and he refuse just stating that we were "in alot of trouble". My mother is 65 years old...she had no idea what was going on...she finally reached me and i told her i hadn't left the house all day. I called the WPD and had an officer come out and take a report....long story short, this is a scam. The first question the officer asked me was how much money did they ask for....please be aware if someone other than the police call stating a family member has been in an accident, just hang up. These people feed off fear and probably older people....btw his number his 732 397 5739...so have at him. I did
