Scam call. Recording says it's from some legal enforcement office and failure to respond could result in a warrant issued from my arrest. No law enforcement agency will call you and have you press 1 for more information. Sorry folks, I'm not buying it.

They left a message saying he was with the Sheriff's office as well. When I returned the call the connection was bad, I could barely hear him. He tried to look me up in their database. The IT guys were out and he was having trouble. Eventually we got disconnected before her could tell me the issue. I think he probably hung up on me. After seeing the above comment I also believe it is some kind of scam.

I was told this was the Sheriff's office and I had not reported for Jury duty I think it was on Aug. 22nd. I explained I had not received a notice. He said in order to clear my record I would need to send a retainer fee that would later be returned to me once my case was cleared up (due to not receiving a summons and because of my age. The retainer was almost $1,000.00. I was told to go to Smiths or Rite aid and get two Money Paks and keep the recceipt. By now I was totally confused but I said I don't know you, I don't send money to anyone I have never met. He had given me a fake address in Spanish Fork for the Sheriff's office. He knew I had a doc. appt. and he said to call him from Smiths or Rite "Aid and he would walk me thru it. By now my brain is working and I realize this has to be a scam .
