The woman said I had a balance with Verizon-I have never used Verizon so I doubted this. She verified the last four of my SS and had my mailing address, which was weird. Said I had an unpaid balance from one year ago. Gave me a website to go to: www.verizon.com/fraud - looked legitimate, but when I plugged in the phone number in question, they had no information. I'll be blocking this number from now on.

No one spoke from the callers number. However, this is the third call I have received from the same area code with same results. I block the caller after each call.

The caller was abrupt , demanding and abrasive . Aside from allowing that the call was to be recorded , and as to whether my SS #'s last four digits being correct , I was not permitted to ask who , what , or why , I was speaking to the correspondent .
Determining that the call was not at a perfect transmission for audio the caller permitted my suggestion that another call could improve this .
i am disinclined , however , to enjoy a further adventure into more abuse at the whim of hear no evil . Frederick .
