The people who answered were United IT Desk LLC, (888) 596-1956, at admin@snstechnologies247.com. They said I had a Trojan virus and charged me $350 to get rid of it.

Purchased a new Canon printer, when it wouldn't install properly the telephone number above popped up claiming to be Canon Customer Service. While they were able to get the printer working, they also charged me $350 to do it. This was obviously a scammer and I fell for it.

I receive multiple calls from this number and from ones with different last two digits. No one is there when I answer, and no one picks up if I call it back from a cell phone. It does give you the option to remove your number from their records, but only from a landline.

Received a call from 857-444-8311 this morning. They asked for xxxx xxxxx. I asked who is calling and a woman said the name of a law firm but I could not understand her. She then asked if I was xxxx xxxxx and I said yes. She then hung up.

Asked me to verify my name, (which I did not). Said he had important information on "my" Hyundai 2013 Sonata regarding important issues concerning electrical problems. Told him I didn't own a 2013. He then asked me what type of car I owned. Told him none of his business. Asked him his name and company name and he hung up as I told him to remove my name from his call list.

Offered a $100 rebate for Walmart, Target, and a couple of other stores. Asked for my address. Then asked for my credit card # for a one time "shipping fee." I asked the name of the company. She said they're called, "Platinum Rewards", I then asked for a web site. She said, "platinumrewards16@yahoo.com", I said that that's an email address, not a web site. Reported themselves as treasury agents that are going to come and arrest me because of my 2010 taxes are not correct. First thing, is the person is from India, as was the person they transferred me too.
