They got my Facebook name (which is different from my real name) and texted me saying that there was a package they tried to drop off but I have outstanding fees that I have to pay by clicking on the link they provided.

Texted me that they could not deliver my "package" because there was unpaid postage and gave me a link, however, I'm not expected a package and I live in Canada, so I think it's a scam. If you receive this text, I would not risk clicking the link.

left a text message saying my number was the winner of a cash bonus. No context at all of my name or what contest this number allegedly entered. Obvious phishing for the gullible. And the link in the message shows up as blocked and unreachable due to base windows firewall restrictions. Don't click anything...just block and delete.

The call came in on 08 May 2020 and left a complicated "Verification Number". There were two problems with that:. First, I wasn't able to determine a purpose for the verification number. Did I win the Irish sweepstakes? Is my laundry ready to be picked up? and secondly, I have not changed any passwords or registered any equipment so I am not anticipating any e-verifications. Wrong time of year for Publishers Clearinghouse. Essentially, I have no idea what this call was about.

I receive a text from this number infrequently. It is usually associated with a message from UBER giving the said number owner a code for an UBER pick-up. Somehow, I am linked to the reply from UBER when a request for driver is made.
