Recorded message said I was under criminal investigation by the IRS and a warrant has been issued for my arrest. Also my property is subject to seizure and soon. These scams have been all over the news here for over a year and even the scammers in India and Pakistan who run it have been busted of late. And just because the caller ID says Oklahoma dosenââ¬â¢t mean that is where they are. Block and report these scum.

Got a voicemail with a slow firm recording robotic voice stating I must call the IRS headquarters in Oklahoma...etc. I immediately looked up the number to see if there's any info and to my relief appears to be a scam call. I will call IRS to report number as well.

Robo message "IRS is filing a law suit against you". I'm guessing it's a scam to get you to call them back, thus sorting out the scammable people. Pretty intimidating language, but my tax bill was paid on time, and the IRS would send snail mail~~sorry.

I received another call,from this number, saying that the IRS was coming after me, to arrest me. I told them that they were scammers, and that I was going to turn them in. And that THEY would be arrested.

I did not answer the call because I did not recognise the number, or even the area code. The caller left a partial voice mail - it sounded like a machine voice - and the message seemed to be some kind of threat for legal action if I do not act soon. It sounds like a scam of some kind. I do not intend to call back.

Called saying investigation taking place. I called back and they claim they have been hired by IRS to handle audit issues. When asked why I didn't get a letter they said I was served a month ago but was not home. I said I would have my attorney call them and they hung up.

Left message claiming to be the IRS and threatening to throw me in jail if I did not return the call. The IRS sends letters with actual information about you. They do not make hazy claims backed with ridiculous threats of jail unless you call an unverifiable phone number
