Caller hung up when I said that it wasn't my phone number but I did it.

IRS phone scam I recorded the call and hung up when i was placed on hold. A second call then came in Caller ID stated: Michelle Clark 202-239-1276.

Robocall claiming to be the IRS getting ready to sue me. Gave this number to call back. This number is being used as a scam. Why is your company allowing it?

Been getting the same bogus calls. Everyone should know the IRS NEVER calls or threatens.
Just hang up and report call.

I was called this morning by this number. The person claimed I owed the IRS $6,000. even claiming to have a case number in reference to my case. She Further, threatened to have me arrested. If I did agree to pay now.. I told her I am going to my local police department to check if I have a worrent for my arrest. Then she hung up the phone. Please do not fall for this scam! In our country, we are allowed due process...

They tell you the IRS has a lawsuit against you and try to collect money, it's a huge scam!!! Beware.
