Cell phone rang. I ignored because I've had other reasons to let calls go to V-mail since death of spouse. I waited for V-mail to be left. None was left. I believe it was a Robo call. I have a need to know so I called the number back to get a legitimate Company name so I could add to my cellphone list to spot scammers if they were to repeat calling. Phone was answered on 1st ring by "Mike" who was very happy and quickly asked what medical insurance did I sign up for. I said I didn't and then "click". Ticked I called 2 more times and each time I was immediately hung up on. I called 3rd time and it was answered but a different voice than "Mike's". I asked the name of the Company and the guy got upset and tried to hang up on me. I sid "No wait, I might be interested" and he quickly became interested asking so you do need medical insurance? I said I don't know but what is the name of your Company. He said "United States Savings Center. I pretended I didn't hear him and asked again as I started a recording. He tried and then I said well no, I don't remember signing up for anything. He persisted more and curtly I said NO, I NEVER SIGNED UP anywhere for medical insurance. He then asked in a "smart" tone, well your name is (1st name) and I said YES (now I'm really ticked) and said I want to know how you know my name, how did you get my number and exactly where is your company located? CLICK! BTW, it was (940) with is where my cell number is out of and the FTC warns of this type - be careful folks, this one is a bad one.

No safe caller spammer

I have received calls from this number once daily since July 4th, but when I've called back I get the message that this number is no longer in service.
