I work for a mortgage lender, this is a scam. IRS only contacts by mail and certified mail, not phone.
I've had several voicemails in one day. Something Gray w/ the IRS. It's a computer calling. Wanting me to call for extremely urgent matters. Talked about having my attorney contact them if I have one, but to call immediately to get it resolved. Don't call back. Most likely they changed their number already.

Computerized caller stating it was Officer Heather Gray with the IRS and not to disregard the message. Are you serious. IRS doesn't call you. They send a letter.

I have received several calls today where they leave the same weird computerized message that others have received. When I called the number back, the call could not go through.

I received a voice mail yesterday. The message sounded like a computer in slo mo. She said " My name is Heather Gray from the IRS. Please do not disregard this message. My hotline number is 979-330-1027. Again, my hotline number is 979-330-1027. Please call before we take any action against you. Thank you and take care. " The whole recording was strange and sounded like an intoxicated person but it took a different twist when the IRS said take care?!! Who says that in a robot call? Especially the IRS. Is this for real?

I actually talked to someone who was very aggressive wanting information and stating I owed the Irs from 2011. I hung up, they called back screaming at me I hung up again and they still continue to call and leave a Rob Robcop message from Heather Gray

The message on my phone said it was Officer Heather Gray from Internal Revenue Service. The voice said, "Do not disregard this message and to give a call back before they take any action against you." It was a weird, computerized voice.
