When the number that calls you ( like this one ) is "...a number that has been disconnected and is no longer in service " it is a scammer spoofing the disconnected number in order to hide the identity of the illegal caller .

618-844-3394 shows up on caller ID US Bank . Caller tell you they are calling from US Bank on a recorded line ; they know what accounts you have ; and they ask you if you need any further financial assistance in an attempt to get your information. I called
US Bank main office ; they Advised this is not one of their numbers. this is a spam do not give your information.

This spammer has been calling me every day - sometimes multiple times - but Verizon tells me there's no way to stop them or other callers like them, who also call me but not as persistently. If land-line spam calls can be blocked, why not ones to mobile phones?

Received a text from this number about being a Midwest Member and my card activity not correct, and to call them. I don't know any company that I have a cc card with. So this number is a spam, just not sure how they got my phone number.

Has been calling all day. I supposedly have 4 incidents in Nashville, TN and if I don't take care of it and call them back the local police are going to come and arrest me. HA! This is annoying. They have been calling every thirty minutes and leave a message on my cell phone since 8 am this morning. It is now 4 pm. I have blocked the them and they still call.

this number calls daily or several times a day in past few weeks; never leaves a message. i do not answer; if it is a legitimate caller that needs something, they will leave a message. seems like a telemarketer or spammer.

Claimed to be from the Department of Education. Asked for last 4 of my social which I refused to give then said my birthday which I also refused to divulge. He then replied Have a nice day and hung up. Caller ID says No Name

They continue to call throughout the day. There is no opportunity to request to be removed from their calling list.

This number has been calling me repeatedly, then hanging up as soon as I answer. When I try to return the call, I get a grainy, poor quality voice recording saying that the number cannot be completed as dialed. It does not sound remotely like the official 'cannot be completed as dialed' recording. So I blocked them.

Yes and they claim to be at a military base all day long and the phone be locked up in the locker but clearly someone had called from the phone because we have in our call log and took screenshots of it.

This number belongs to a very shady US Army soldier who is known to frequent dating sites and scam women out of money and other tangibles under the guise of his upcoming "retirement". He will claim he loves you almost instantly and as soon as he feels he's got you on the hook, he will start asking for money, gas money, small "loans" he will try to get out of paying back, groceries, etc.
His photos may or may not have been used by a nigerian scam artist, BUT REGARDLESS, he HIMSELF is a scammer in the flesh. Beware!
