Was the number who texted me saying supposedly I was charged nearly $700 USD and I should call if not true. Do not call this. Suspicious as hell.

This number came up under the name Pathmark, of Patchogue. Pathmark is a supermarket that no longer exists for quite a few years. No message was left.

the 631 area code number is what Jason left in the voicemail, but the caller id on the missed call showed a local 847 area code... He was also somewhat vague stating he needed some tree work done in Kane County, but did not mention a town or city.. I am very suspicious .

I am so glad i checked this web site before returning this call coming from:
631.856.5658, it said its from a land line in new york but the message on my work phone said his name was brian and he wanted to see if i would be interested in a job repairing a gas line, making it sound like it was for his own house. Im a plumber , have my own buisness.
I found this web site and checked the comments and the other number listed above in the other peoples comments said it was home advisor, well, I have been getting a lot of calls from" customers" wanting to talk with me and it is always home advisor!
I have found that , at least for me, when someone calls and asks if im interested, or you hear people talking in the back ground, its usually home advisor.
I have talked with my friends who have their own business and say the same thing, and 1 of my friends tried it and said it worked good for 1 month after that he could not call fast enough from the "leads" home advisor gives you.
It costs $$$ and a contract for a year, he could not wait until the year was over! he said he lost money on home advisor. Word is getting out and thats why home advisor has to be more "tricky" to try to get new or expecting contractors. No one I know likes or recommends home advisor!

Someone named Tyler out of Northbrook, IL via Caller ID, but the call back number is out of New York?? Called my unlisted cell & said he was calling from Home Advisor looking to hook me up with some work with some clients in Cook County Ilinois. But Home Advisor does NOT call you?! So this is likely a SCAM ~ BLOCK & DELETE!!!

I got a call asking to speak to my husband. Identified myself and asked if there was something I could help him with. Said he was calling about work being done in the area and needed to speak to my husband when I told him I handle our scheduling so he needed to speak to me he said oh OK thank you and immediately hung up. Googling I see this is home advisor. Idiots
