A call from this number stated the call was for (a relative of mine) Here it is verbatim: " This message is for _______. I'm calling from XTS to set up delivery of legal documents. Apparently there was a refusal to sign for them on your behalf. To avoid further legal issues you have 2 hours to call the firm that paid for our services. The number is 213-375-8528" A "complaint reference number" was given, then "Call NOW". When I returned the call I recognized the voice, so I knew it wasn't "the firm that paid for our services". I gave him the reference number and asked what legal issues my relative had. He said he couldn't divulge the details without their consent, but said if they didn't call they would "miss a court date". I asked what kind of court date, my relative had never had legal issues, and if it was about money. He asked my relationship, and stated "Who said anything about money? We pay our firm to deliver documents, not call peoples' relatives". I stated "that's exactly what happened, so you need to talk to your firm". Then he hung up. I called back, got a recording saying it was a "loss mitigation service".

This number called my office stating I was being sued and needed me to contact him regarding a subpoena to appear n court.

Called and left a message on m husbands phone we had 2 hours to call, he had rejected papers, that we had never seen, and was going to sue us for a 10 year old Doctor bill. When we called we didn't feel comfortable with it so we wanted him to email or fax us something from his company and he refused.

Contacted my in-laws and contacted me at my work insisting I call back within two hours or I was being sued. Returned call wanting me to settle an old hospital bill, insisting I give them a payment on the spot and set up payments or I was going to be served papers at my place of employment.. They state they were a law firm representing a debt collection company.

Told me I had 2 hours to respond so call NOW! Claimed I rejected certified papers. Big scam.

This is a scammer. He said the name was XTS and there was a law suit against a person who has been deceased for 17 years. Why would a lawyer call from CA to a home in middle TN to sue a person in FLORIDA.
