Just received a text message from this guy which I thought was weird at first because not many people know that my business phone is a cell phone. Same story about choreographing a dance for his daughters wedding. He used the name David Thompson. I asked some follow up questions then Googled the number and noticed the # is from Toronto Canada. My business is in New Jersey

Contacted me on 7 - 10 - 2016 saying he wanted to purchase lessons for wedding party. 12 lessons and wanted me to pay driver for girls. I'm in Vegas. I appreciate this website. I ended my session with him leaving his a very funny message I can't repeat here. He used Theophilus Gasper as the name. LOL

I got the name Theophilus Gasper. Same sort of thing as mentioned earlier. He wanted guitar lessons for his two children, claims he was abroad but wanted to send his kids over via a driver. He asked me to use something besides PayPal or Square. He was ok with me using Stripe. Im glad I decided to look up his number and found this site!

Scam. Marc Johnson. Same story as others described. It is not customers' business who I use as a merchant for my studio, as they are not buying dance lessons on ebay. Good advice - Don't ever disclose this information as you might end up being a victing of a merchant hacker.

Same guy apparently under the name Patrick Lawrence. Requesting private lessons for a wedding in may. Saying the Bridesmaids were in town and he was not.
Wouldn't pay by credit card and wanted me to set up a fresh-book account....

We also received a call from Bryan Adams regarding his daughter's wedding. My company is located in Los Angeles, after several attempts to finalize and get a deposit payment he kept asking us to use fresh books as the merchant payment and he would pay the set up fees, instead of PayPal or Square he had too many excuses. This is Defintely a scam for sure.

Got a call from a guy on this line. At first, he texted me regarding set up dance lessons for a wedding. When I called him back with a price, he wanted to know what credit card merchant I used. I told him to just bring his credit card for the lesson. He then explained he was not going to be accompanying the girls for the lesson. I told him I was not interested in his deal and hung up.
