RI recently received a text message asking if I did photo services (which I do). Wanted to know how much I charged for 5 hours at a family reunion June 23rd or 30th, but the person only claimed to be able to pay by credit card. They were very reluctant to pay with PayPal, check or even cash. Said they had problems with Google Pay, PayPal and Venmo. Insisted I use certain types of card transaction methods like clover-go, leadermerchants.com, paysimple credit card merchant. I asked to meet them, got the response they were hearing impaired and in ICU recuperating from lung cancer. Asked them if their was a family member I could speak to, they had none. Asked them for a name and what "hospital" they were at, no reply. My last text was stating I started an investigation on this number starting with Attorney General, PSC and eventually the FBI. I am tired of solicitation, spam and scammers. Hard to believe if you are in ICU that:
A) you could use a phone inside ICU (interference with medical equip.)
B) if you are that sick, you can plan a reunion from a hospital bed.
