Receiving many calls from many different numbers including this one claiming the IRS has filed a lawsuit against me. One actually said there was a warrant out for my arrest... Ha! Totally fake and bogus. The IRS does not operate in this way and there is no reason for the IRS to come after me. I do everything legitimately. I wish something will be done because I'm tired of receiving these ridiculous and fraudulent calls

The recorded message was truncated. What can be discerned was "...filed a lawsuit against you. To get more information about the case, please call our department number 973-452-1653 for more information. I repeat our number is 973-452 [message stopped]."

It was a recording stating that i need to call 973-452-1653 for more information pertaining to a lawsuit against me by the IRS. I figure if the IRS is going to file a lawsuit against me I would probably get a certified letter in the mail. I cant think of any reason why the IRS would come after me. Does anyone know if this is a scam?

Recording, man's voice, telling me it's my last chance to return the call (even tho I answered) because the IRS needs to talk to me about unfinished business. Very threatening,an impostor. Aren't there repercussions for impersonating a government entity?
