I noticed someone else had the same exact experience as me. I also received a text message from this number from a "John Rideout" claiming he saw my resume on indeed and to email him for more details about a job position. The email he had me use was "johnrideout111@gmail.com" I reciprocated with an email but acquired that I be given a link to the apparent job posting on indeed. I received another text telling me he received my email and "will respond shortly" he responded with the job offer and job functions etc..I haven't responded and received another text saying I was emailed and to "kindly check in and get back to" him.

Got a text from this number offering a job from Indeed.com, they asked me to email them so I did, and they offered a job to be a personal assistant to run errands for them....seemed a little weird...the name he used is John Rideout, which I googled and that name is associated with a rapist who was arrested in the 70s, and the area code isn't from my state, so super sketchy!

I received a text saying they saw my resume on indeed. But the area code isn't in my state AND who texts when offering a job? I say it smells pretty fishy. Told them if the job was a serious offer to call me or email me through indeed.com.
They then sent a text saying they had "...sent an email through indeed and emailed to this email...." It was my name a the email host I use, but other things were added as part of email name. Didn't respond. Blocked the number and reported to indeed. This was the email they used draven111bbb@gmail.com
