Being sued by IRS... Right. No badge number or confirmation for working with the IRS... Such a scam. IRS uses standard mail in everything.

Recording claimed to be IRS regarding a lawsuit against me. I was advised to call the number back to find out more.

Call claiming to be the IRS with information about a case file against me. the IRS will never call like this, definitely a scam, I wish they'd stop calling this number

They state they are the IRS but they are not as the IRS does not have a Robo call go out and they will actually send you a mail notice to call them. I called back and told them to stop calling as they are not the IRS and they immediately hung up on me!! The IRS will not hang up on you! Don't fall for this SCAM - I wish these people could be prosecuted and sent to prison for such fraud!
